Group Exercise Class Descriptions

All fitness levels welcome! 

 

Pump - Strength Training

Burn calories, lose fat, gain muscle, increase strength and bone density using hand weights and weighted bars.  Class               formats rotate monthly between endurance, strength and power formats to provide you with the changes you need to

avoid plateaus. 

 

Step - Cardio Training

Traditional step.  Improve cardiovascular strength and endurance while burning calories and losing fat.

 

 

Body Bar Sculpting - Cardio & StrengthTraining

Designed to increase tone and re-shape your body.  Exercise bands, weights, balls and other equipment are utilized to provide full body sculpting.

 

30/30/30 - CYCLE/WEIGHTS/YOGA - Specifically designed with the 3 fitness elements of effective training.  Each segment is 30 minutes. 

                                                                                                          

Body Tone - Strength Training

This class focuses on toning and building lean muscle, as well as strengthening the body's core muscles.  There will be cardio and flexibility elements to the class also.

                       

Water Aerobics - Strength, Flexibility, Balance and Core Training

Low impact exercise for all ages.  Water aerobics improves strength, conditioning, heart health, muscle tone, and more.
 
Zumba - Cardio, Full body toning - Zumba combines high-energy and motivation music with unique moves and combinations that allow you to dance away your worries.  Add some spice and flare to your workout and shake your cha-cha!  This Latin-based group exercise is fun and wasy to do.  No dance experience required.
 
Spin Class - Spinning is more that a workout! It's a philosophy.  Whether you ride to get stronger, nurture your body and spirit, sweat out the events of the day or re-invent yourself, Spinning is your ride.
 
Silver Sneakers Range of Motion - This class offers something for everyone, regardless of fitness level, and can help improve overall strength, flexibility and balance, resulting in your ability to stay healthy and maintain your independence.
 
Silver Sneakers Cardio Circuit - This class features upper body strength workouts using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and the SilverSneakers ball, alternated with non-impact aerobic activity.
 
Silver Sneakers YogaStretch  - This is a special yoga class in which you'll learn gentle, effective stretching that can help maintain joint flexibility and prevent injury.
